In the fall semester, Native SOAR partners with the Office of Early Academic Outreach, Native American Student Affairs, and the Office of Admissions to host the annual Native American College Day. Over 250 middle and high school students and their families attend the event at the University of Arizona.

 

Native SOAR mentors share college information in workshops regarding paying for college, the transition from high school to college and how to create a sense of family on a university campus. Mentors also facilitate campus tours for families.
